Job Description:

Ocarina Networks is looking for a Development Contractor to design and develop tools that will simulate fast streams of data and report results.  Candidate must be able to write C programs efficiently as well as write Perl wrappers.  

Responsibilities:

• Write standalone C programs that generate streams of data over NFS and CIFS
• Write utilities to analyze data based on C program output
• Work within both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Write Windows based API test cases
• Read and write Perl and C code

Required Skills:

• End user experience with (Linux/W2K3)
• System level knowledge of Linux or Windows
• Demonstrated ability to write high performance C application; minimum of six (6) years
• BS in CS, EE or related field.  MS a plus.
• good communication skills

Term:

• 6 months
• rate commensurate with experience
